Dr. Eyal Levit
Dr. Eyal Levit is a Board certified dermatologist, an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, a Director of a new Procedural dermatology fellowship accredited by the ACGME (the American medical board that sets the standards and the only recognizable body that accredits doctors and their specialties in the USA), and the Director of Dermatologic & Cosmetic Surgery at St. Lukes’ Hospital, Columbia University in NY.
Dr. Levit has chosen to develop his Mohs Surgery practice in Brooklyn and would be honored to have the opportunity to serve you and your loved ones. We know that skin cancer can be a frightening diagnosis, our goal is to make your treatment easy and your cure a certainty.
Dr. Levit completed his dermatology residency at Columbia University, where he now teaches the surgery clinic. Following his residency he finished a 1 year Mohs surgery fellowship with the renowned Dr. Leonard Dzubow at the University of Pennsylvania.
He then undertook a second fellowship, 2 years, in Cosmetic surgery with Emil Bisaccia, a fellow of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a pioneer in dermatological and cosmetic surgery. With Dr. Bisaccia, he further honed his skills in the aesthetic and reconstructive phases of Mohs surgery.
Dr. Levit and his staff are professional, courteous, gentle, and serious about saving no expense in making their patients experience as comfortable as possible. As someone who himself had been treated for skin cancer, Dr. Levit, knows what goes through his patients minds and tries to address their concerns and alleviate them to the best of his abilities.
Dr. Levit has received the highest award for volunteer work bestowed by the American Academy of Dermatology.
